How MEXAPAN-DTM Works
Pantoprazole belongs to the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) group. It blocks the gastric proton pump involved in the final stage of stomach acid secretion. Therefore, it reduces gastric acid production and helps create a less acidic environment in the stomach and upper digestive tract.
