How MEXAMEF-P Works

Important Safety Information

Also, avoid taking MEXAMEF-P together with other NSAIDs unless specifically advised. Medicines such as anticoagulants, corticosteroids and some other medicines can increase the risk of side effects when combined with NSAIDs.
Because the product contains Paracetamol, avoid taking additional medicines that also contain Paracetamol unless your healthcare professional confirms that the combination is appropriate. Taking excessive amounts of Paracetamol can cause serious liver damage.
Mefenamic acid and other NSAIDs may not be suitable during pregnancy, particularly at certain stages. Therefore, pregnant or breastfeeding patients should seek medical advice before using this medicine.
Seek urgent medical attention for symptoms such as vomiting blood, black stools, severe stomach pain, difficulty breathing, facial or throat swelling, or a severe skin reaction.

Dosage & Administration

Swallow the tablet with water. Taking NSAIDs with or after food may help reduce stomach discomfort. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, and do not take additional Paracetamol-containing medicines without medical advice.
If you miss a dose, follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
