How LOCINX-500 Works

- Report burning, tingling, numbness or weakness because fluoroquinolones can cause peripheral neuropathy.
- Levofloxacin can cause central nervous system effects, including dizziness, confusion or other changes in mental status.
- Patients with a history of myasthenia gravis should generally avoid levofloxacin because it may worsen muscle weakness.
- Tell your doctor about previous tendon problems, kidney disease, heart rhythm problems, neurological conditions or other significant medical conditions.
- Some medicines and mineral supplements can interfere with levofloxacin absorption. Follow the prescribed instructions regarding medicines containing iron, zinc, magnesium or aluminium.
- Do not take antibiotics unnecessarily or use leftover antibiotics, as inappropriate use can contribute to antibiotic resistance.
